Hope this helps. The transformer isolator fixes the problem by isolating the grounds but has limitations of transformers. This leads me to believe its a hardware/driver issue and not so much a speaker/interference issue. The issue has always begun with the Windows logo, but I've been running for a couple of hours now without it occurring. I am not certain, however, that these were the same issue.

Well, my best sound card for modern computers is a Sound Blaster PCI card from 2002; since then, only two onboard sound chips were added to my armada of sound cards. P.S., I haven't had the issue of crashing when playing video with AC3 audio. Just tested:Onboard: Noise occurs whether I'm using speakers or headphones. It will not boot, but you can listen again for the noise.
