you probably should not keep it in safe mode. Hi, I always leave it open as I download things, so its not that I'm afraid. I've been using a utility found here. I have laboriously tried page after page of suggestions for literally weeks.

Finally I was able to update Windows ! Easy, very quicker than all the other stuff on the www. Andy D. then turn it back on.
